This
is a great favourite of ours. Lovely old pub which is
really more of a restaurant with a small bar, that's really
more of a restaurant than bar. Situated on the main Snape
road. Excellent steaks and a good range of international
cuisine from rack of lamb to thai curry. Fantastic puddings
to finish off the evening.

- Snape
This
recently refurbished pub/restaurant, is especially convenient
if you're walking, shopping or concert going at the Maltings.
Modern and spacious decor, the food is good, with local
seafood available and there is decent bar drinking space
and a room with comfy sofas for lazy afternoons reading
the paper.

place serves excellent food and has a good wine list,

Oysterage -
Orford
For
those who love their seafood, especially crabs and oysters,
this is the place for you. What started as a little café
that sold oysters and cups of tea has become a large,
bustling, no-nonsense restaurant. It still specializes
in oysters and smoked salmon, as well as smoked seafood
platters and seasonal fish dishes. The actual smoking
takes place in the adjacent smokehouse, products are for
sale in a shop around the corner. Main

little pub. Good locals hangout. The Oyster at Butley
has a longstanding reputation for its friendly family
atmosphere. Serves a good range of food including bar

Lighthouse restaurant

Fish
generally takes precedence, but the seasonal menu will
includes meat, poultry and vegetarian options. Some of
the many specialities include Aldeburgh Asparagus (only
in season), Fresh Crab, Skate Wings and Dover Sole but
everything changes and everything is fresh. The special
desert they call 'Wicked bread and butter pudding' as
this traditional English dish is enlivened with a good
shot of scotch AFTER cooking.
