This cosy pub has so much character. A real favourite of ours. It' s collection of little rooms most with their own roaring fire create a welcoming atmostphere. It's a great place to have a drink and some food after a walk along the river wall. In the summer time it's large garden is a great place for outside dining/drinking.
The menu is a mixture of locally source food from seafood such as Bass, Lobster, Moules, Skate, & the favourite Code & Chips to Steak and ale pie, Suffolk Lamb, Norfolk Sirloin Steak, Barberry Duck. |

Getting
there :
Turn left in Sudbourne and drive into Orford. As you drive in to Orford continue past the Kings Head and down towards the Key and River. There is a carpark behind the pub but best to park in the large one opposite as there is always space.
Opening times:
Mon -Fri: 11:00 - 15:00 and 17:30 - 23:00ish
Saturday: 11h00 - 24h00
Sunday: 12h00 - 23h00
Food served all lunchtime and dinner from 18h00 to about 21h30 but we seldom turn anyone away
