A cosy local pub a short walk from the river Alde and within eye shot of Orford Castle.
Among the dishes that find their way onto the menu at The Kings Head: Orford smoked mackerel with horseradish cream & mustard sauce; baked goat’s cheese, chicory and roast beet salad, walnut oil dressing; Steak & ale steamed pudding, roast carrots and savoy cabbage and the delicious slow roast belly of Suffolk pork, Chinese leaf, sweet potato, ginger soy broth.

Getting
there :
Turn left in Sudbourne and drive into Orford. As you drive in to Orford and the pub is just on your left
with the car park just before on the same side.
During the day there is a great basket makers and
small gift shop next door.
Mon- Fri opening times -11:30 - 3, 6pm - 11pm ; lunch 12 - 2:30, supper 6:30-9pm.
Sat - open from 11:30 - 11:30, same food times as above
Sun- open from 12 noon- 10:30; lunch 12 - 3, supper 6:30-9pm
